15 minute writting brainstorm

I am aware of the global environmental issues like ocean pollution, unclean air, ect. Although, I really don’t know the intense environmental issues Memphis faces. I’ve noticed things like litter, and the lack of leafy streets; but I am not aware of the statistics or the pounding issues we endure. I am hoping that when I research Memphis’s problems that I will be able to learn a lot about it , and continue to be involved with it after this English course.
I think mainly that I want to research how polluted out air is. I would like to learn how it is effecting Memphis’s citizens and our atmosphere. What I mean by our atmosphere
is Memphis’s plants, flowers and wildlife.
If our air cleanliness really isn’t a problem, then I would like to investigate the recourses Memphis mainly uses and how they are limited. However , I think that writing a paper on this would be difficult because I would be tempted more to write about the world than just the city.
If possible, now that I have been brain storming, I would like to report just on the cleanliness of Memphis. I’d like to write about how clean the streets are (like how much litter and debris linger), the cleanliness of our water, and the air. I’d like to take all three of these topics and apply to how all these factors contribute to Memphis’s people and environment.
When researching, I’d like to know when this became a problem . Knowing this history is the key to preventing it in the future. Also, I’d want to learn how long this has been a problem and what has been done to help improve the situation. I’d like to learn what the people and city officials can do to help; and what big steps needs to be taken. Also, I like to find out what the positive outcomes could be.
